granulated sugar
place in deep heavy saucepan heat gently to disolve sugar increase heat slightly until turns into syrup watch closely. boil on fairly low heat until looks like marmalade ~15mins turn off heat whisk immediately pour into prepared tin cool completely for 2 hours remove using hammer or other kitchen implement break into chunks
